How to Get Wi-Fi in Laptop

Changing the channel

Changing the wireless adapter driver

First, open the Device Manager in Windows. Navigate to the Network adapters section. Right-click on the Wi-Fi device, and then choose “Update driver”. Windows will scan for new drivers and install them. After installing the new drivers, close Device Manager. Your laptop should now have WiFi again.

If the driver for your WiFi adapter is outdated, it could be the cause of your connection problems. Keeping outdated drivers on your computer is a common cause of problems with WiFi. If you want to make sure that you’re getting the best performance from your wireless adapter, you should download the latest drivers. Using the latest drivers will fix many problems, including slow connection speeds. If you don’t want to install the latest drivers, you can try using the beta drivers. They may work with newer versions of Windows 10. Make sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions to make sure you’re getting the right driver.

Then, you can open Device Manager and search for the Wi-Fi adapter under ‘Network adapters’. From there, you can select the Wireless adapter you want to update and open its properties menu. In this window, you’ll see the wireless adapter’s current driver version and the name of its latest driver.

You can also try connecting to another WiFi network or restart the router. This might resolve your problem, or at least make it less likely to recur.
